This Teacher Is a Style Scholar
Teachers are so special to parents and children yet, as mentioned earlier in the week, each is their own individual with their own sense of style. As we head back to school, I’m thrilled to be spotlighting another terrific educator! Jordan is a dedicated teacher and enjoys fashion as much as the rest of us!
As Jordan says:
I like to dress functionally in my classroom without sacrificing style. I generally opt for textured tops or simple dresses that aren’t too delicate while reading, writing, and creating masterpieces alongside less-than-careful little hands.
Whether or not you are headed back to school, it’s certainly the time of year to consider fall transition looks. Here Jordan shows a few samples from Kiskadee!
Free Dress Day
Jordan shows functionality doesn’t mean skimping on style…the tassels, V-neck, and the beautiful shade of blue highlights her sense of style. The dress (Michael Stars, $100) is just as perfect for the school day as it is for shopping and lunch with your girlfriends!
It’s Elementary My Dear
Pants and jeans are a staple in the teacher uniform. Add a top (Lila P, $156) with texture and in a gorgeous color and your uniform has gone from ordinary to extraordinary. This outfit is perfect for floor and craft time, plus anything else little hands may throw (literally!) your way.
Recess
Although all of Jordan’s wardrobe selections can transition well from school to dinner and a movie, she enjoys breaking the rules on the weekend. This romper (Glam, $83) may not be school-appropriate, but it is for everything else she enjoys! Farmers’ markets, concerts, date night…the list is endless for this on-trend outfit!
