Slippers!

I mean, as if we haven’t been spending enough time at home already, it looks like we could be headed for a long winter of semi-quarantine. Luckily for me, I loaded our shelves up with slippers for fall. We have all types this year. My personal favorite are the slides from Mou. I have mentioned this before, but I purchased a pair a few years back at Betsey Fisher. Alicia called me and insisted I get these slippers. I think of anything I own I get the best price per wear for my Mou slippers. Both of my children try to steal them, and I lose my mind if I can’t find them. I know people have this same affinity for Ugg slippers. It is difficult to explain why I love them so much, but I do.

The second delivery of ROAM has also just hit our shelves. The first two styles (adorable fur slides) are gone, but we are happy to have new styles and we have a holiday order coming later this month. ROAM shoes are two things: an athletic slide or a slipper. You can usually use them for either, depending on the fabric and your willingness to wear them outdoors. Made of memory foam, the founder wanted shoes that were exceptionally made, supportive, and fashionable. Kay Sides, the founder, is a lifelong avid athlete and adventurer and wanted a shoe that could help her keep up with her busy and versatile life – sound familiar?

We all might not be moving around the world right now like these shoes were originally made for, but they will keep us comfortable at home and looking great when we head outdoors, even if it is just to walk the dog.
