New Website + Denim Sale

It is hard to believe it has been 17 years since we opened our doors. I figure if we can make it through this pandemic year, we can make it through anything. Usually we celebrate in early October, but life took a turn for me this fall and planning something kind of got put on the back burner.

Despite not working on a party, we have been working on something new behind the scenes: a spiffy new website. I get the irony of celebrating 17 years of a brick and mortar store (four years for the clothing store) with a new e-commerce site, but times are changing, and never have I been happier to offer online shopping than I have been in 2020. Our online client base has grown over the last six months and we decided it was time for a digital upgrade. There has always been a stylistic disconnect between our brick and mortar store and our e-commerce store, and it has gnawed at me. Sometimes new brands ask us for our website, and I cringe a little bit as I send it. Well, not anymore. Check it out at theshoehive.com. Now logging onto our site will seem like you are walking into our stores.

I hope you love the new site as much as we do. Look for more content like styling videos and top picks. We know there will be a few glitches along the way (I mean, it is 2020 – what else can we expect), but we promise we will figure them out as quickly as possible.
