Yesterday evening, we celebrated with our friends Alex Deringer and Courtney Cox the opening of their new stores: Ivy Lane Linens and Ivy Lane Living. The two stores sit at opposite ends of the charming courtyard tucked in between Fairfax and Royal at 309 Cameron Street in Old Town Alexandria.

Ivy Lane Linens and Ivy Lane Living are the retail spaces born out of their full-service interior design firm that curates casually elegant family dwellings. Alex and Courtney work as a team on a full range of projects from full house renovations to one-room makeovers. And you can now shop Ivy Lane’s fresh aesthetic!

Ivy Lane Living houses a collection of antique and new pieces–here customers can see and feel the quality of Ivy Lane’s custom private-label upholstered furniture–beautiful pillows, an ever-changing display of works by inspiring artists, and unique new and vintage home accessories, one-of-a-kind treasures sourced from estates and antique dealers around the country. The Ivy Lane Living design studio hosts monthly trunk show events to introduce customers to noteworthy artisans. You can sign up for the newsletter for event invitations here! In the meantime, pay Ivy Lane Living a visit this weekend during their open house today and tomorrow from 10AM to 5PM.

Just across the brick courtyard, Ivy Lane Linens infuses an age-old tradition with an au courant vibe, specializing in bespoke embroidery that is simply extraordinary. Custom linens for bedding, tabletop, and bath are on offer in an array of colorways to complement any decor, with vintage tableware and a thoughtful selection of oh-so-perfect hostess gifts also available. Ivy Lane Linens will be open every Wednesday through Saturday from 10AM to 5PM.

Selected goods from each store will soon be available online.
