Courtyard of Creators: Skin Scholars

It is hard to believe it is the end of October and we are gearing up for the last of our Courtyard of Creators events. The series has flown by and the support you’ve shown has really been overwhelming.

We are ending the series (don’t worry, we are going to try and plan something for the holidays) with a local favorite. Many of you might know Skin Scholars from the Carlyle Farmers Market on Friday afternoons. This sister duo, Elaina and Alysia Bright are not just a skincare company; their knowledge and passion has been passed down from seven generations of herbalists. They are dedicated to producing friendly and sustainable products that people can feel good about using.

My favorite line from their bio was that “everything was made with Love, Laughter and the Patience of the Cosmos.” Doesn’t that sound wonderful? Another line that makes me love them is that they “believe in Crap-Free Products;” they are my kind of ladies.

This Courtyard of Creators event is just two days, Saturday, October 24, 10am – 7pm, and Sunday, October 25, 12pm – 5pm.

We can’t wait to host these female entrepreneurs. I have to mention when we were coordinating dates they asked for end of October because Elaina was having a baby in early October. I am hoping the little one is there as well!
