what to wear: ten pieces in ten days

This week’s look is based on taking elements that you can build off of to create multiple looks. Be on the lookout Friday where I will introduce the 10 Piece Wardrobe Challenge. Are you up for it? This will definitely get you in touch with your closet and teach you how to use your purchases.

The “Go Silk” dress (made in the US!) from Coco Blanca is a core item that can take many different directions. Sea or Ski…this can anchor your trip or your closet just by adding some great layering pieces and changing up your jewelry and footwear. I chose the charcoal color dress for this story (it comes in other colors too!) and I found the rest of the pieces from The Shoe Hive, Kiskadee and Bellacara. By building around a color palette – here it is charcoal and blush – you get a great ROI (return on investment). Adding the right beauty products help translate the look from day to night. I am getting a lot of joy out of my Jouer glimmer eyeshadow…highly recommend this purchase!
