Fall items are starting to arrive in stores. The ankle boot is still very relevant and here’s how you can take advantage of purchasing something for fall and get some immediate gratification in wearing it now.
Wear with a floral sundress
Wear with a silk midi skirt
Wear with white denim
Wear with shorts
Wear with stripes
Here are a few inspirational looks on how to wear your ankle boots now for a range of age groups.
Here I’ve chosen the Aquatalia Frankie boot in Beaver from The Shoe Hive. The heel is light in color and works great for transition seasons or when you are wearing winter white in the cooler months. I love the block heel on this boot for a variety of reasons. A lower and more substantial heel gives you just enough height with your denim without looking as though you’re trying too hard. This also gives you a much more user friendly approach to your day and you’re less likely to teeter on the uneven bricks of Old Town or Georgetown. Also, when you wear a low block heel, shorts are within reach (for the young and leggy).
Some looks I’ve put together with items from our featured boutiques (along with some of my own pieces) and then check out my Pinterest Board for more ankle boot inspirations.
