Think Stevie this Spring
We are just back from another buying trip, this time focusing on spring fashion, and I could not help noticing one of my favorite fashion trends returning in a big way. Actually, the trend never really disappeared, but now the runways are embracing the look more than ever! I’m referring to the romantic boho gypsy look, filled with beautiful visual and tactile embellishments that make you fall in love all over again.
And I can’t think of a better icon for this 70s-style inspiration than the pop culture fairy godmother, Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac, with her signature breezy style. It’s all about the beautiful mix of sheer fabrics, light gauzy linens, plenty of lace and cutouts, beautiful smocking and embroidered embellishments, luminescent beading detail, fringe, ruffles, bell sleeves, and off-the-shoulder necklines.
