Kate: I’m going to a lot of sporting events this summer. I don’t want to just wear a t-shirt and shorts, but it’s going to be so hot! Any recommendations?

Alicia, Tullebox: When attending a sporting event, keep it simple and I suggest dressing in light colored clothing. The white linen shorts shown here are from Coco Blanca and can be worn with a variety of colored tops and tanks. Take the scarf belt off and wear this in your hair around a ponytail or wrap it around your wrist for a little panache. Stripes would be something to consider too. Above all else, wear a hat (baseball if you’re going to a Nats game), sunglasses, and sunscreen – a day out in the sun is going to be brutal on your eyes, skin and hair (if you get your hair highlighted the sun can abuse all the time and money that went into creating those sun-kissed tresses!).
