Mother’s Day Memories
The rainy weather last week has probably done a number on all of us. I’m thinking of my best friend Anne who passed away and my friend Amy’s son Ethan who left us too early at the young age of 22. With Mother’s Day coming up, I’m forever grateful for my three amazing children and of course my Mother, Grandmother, and Grammy.
Like all of you, I’ve been purging through boxes and I was fortunate enough to come across this gem. It’s a letter written from my Grammy to her father telling him that she was pregnant with my mother. It reminds me that there was a different time where we wrote each other notes and letters and I’d like to think we can get back to that.
I think I’ll try to write three this week. That’s my goal! I hope you will enjoy this sweet note and the picture of my mother.
