I would be doing many of you a disservice if I didn’t share another aspect of my style business: Menswear. With the abundance of style attention we are dedicating to ourselves, the guys in our lives need to look as though they belong to us!
Last year I expanded my styling business into menswear with a company called J. Hilburn. I consider them a step above J.Crew and on par with Brooks Brothers (but a better value). They pride themselves on the perfect fitting shirt for men but they also offer customizable suits, sport coats and tuxedos, ready-to-wear jackets and pants, ties, cufflinks, outerwear, belts….and all of it is amazing quality. The idea is to send stylists directly to the client and provide a level of service that we as women could only dream about.
Imagine having a knowledgeable individual come to your home and show you fabulous fabrics, take your measurements, and then provide a wardrobe of items delivered to your door ~ and everything fits! J. Hilburn has determined that this is how most men prefer to shop. I must admit, it takes a lot of the frustration out of getting dressed and spending time taking items to the tailor. The other intriguing part of this menswear business is that this level of custom clothing is less expensive than the competitors simply by removing the middle man. J. Hilburn is going back “old school” to how we used to buy merchandise and the profit is given back in quality and a fair price.
Through the end of this month, J. Hilburn is running their fall promotions and have discounted many outerwear pieces along with their sell-out pants.
