how to dress up a swimsuit
Whether you aren’t entirely comfortable gallivanting poolside in nothing but your bikini, or whether you are headed straight from the beach to drinks with friends, there is always an occasion to dress up your swimsuit. And ladies, a pair of denim cut-offs and a t-shirt just don’t work. Think ahead. Opt instead for a fun cover-up that will make you feel confident (1, Kiskadee). Before leaving for the pool, beach, lake or your other body of water of choice, grab a large tote that can double as a beach bag (4, Kiskadee). Throw in a pair of flip-flops (3, Kiskadee), preferably not the pair that you will get sand in or chlorine on. You’ll want a pair to change into later. So far, I haven’t really recommended anything too out of the norm, but trust me: going the extra mile pays off. Bring with you a little jewelry (6, Kiskadee), a bright lipstick (7, Bellacara) and your favorite product to revive your beachy locks at the end of the day. Our favorite is the thickening spray by Bumble & Bumble (2, Bellacara). Finally, for skin protection and style, bring along a statement hat. After all, now that you’ve done it up right, you’ll want to be noticed!
