Well-Traveled Style, Style That Travels Well

Bring on the hectic holiday travel plans. Last week we sat down with the talented local creative, Elyse Cosgrove, to chat about what to pack for her trip to Europe.

Elyse was heading on a whirlwind trip to Berlin and London to film a documentary and came to TSALT in search of a few staple items and styling ideas. We offered up some great travel pieces that would also fit perfectly into her everyday wardrobe.

It is perfect for Berlin and it’s a great addition to her wardrobe. The black metallic dress by Rachel Zoe is also a no-brainer. It travels well and it’s the ultimate little black dress.

Elyse’s second stop was London, where the fashion is trendy, a mix of high/low and effortless. We offered up the deep blue Zadig & Voltaire velvet slip dress, but layered in the incredibly comfortable Enza Costa turtleneck to give Elyse more of a daytime look. This lightweight turtleneck comes in black and white. It’s easy to pack and it’s the perfect option to layer under a sweater, coat or dress.

For a night out on the town, we suggested the embellished alice + olivia dress. The flared bottom balances out Elyse’s shoulders, and the dark green velvet base brings out her eyes.
