Fringe & Feathers, a Few of My Favorite Things…

I have always believed that accessories make an outfit. I go through phases of wearing just a couple specific accessories all the time and rotate them through my outfits throughout the season. My collection of scarves is quite ridiculous. In fact, I’ve recently had to pare it down. I just find a scarf can fix a multitude of outfit sins.

• A scarf can tie everything together quite easily.

• It can hide an unflattering neckline.

• That extra layer takes your outfit to the next level.

One of the most functional scarves you can have in your closet is a square silk scarf by Johnny Was. The patterns bring in all sorts of colors, so it works with so many different outfits. I also love that it has the fringe tassels that hang off the edge to give it that little extra level of spunk!

The statement earring is clearly still very important in our wardrobe, especially in spring and summer. I love it paired with a very simple, minimalist outfit. Mix the bold and the basic to create fantastic! The fringe earrings were all the rage last year and are still holding strong. We are seeing a change in materials though from the silk thread to feathers and raffia for this spring/summer.

How amazing are these earrings!?! I wont admit how many of these I took home for myself!

No pierced ears? No problem! You can still have fun with necklaces. Those feather earrings also come in an amazing feather tassel necklace. Mixed with pieces of suede and beautiful, faceted beads, this piece is a true stunner.

We also love the adjustable length of this Goriana tassel necklace! It is so fun!
