From Formal to Fun, Dressing for the Holidays

This is one of my favorite times of year, the family being brought together, keeping up traditions and creating new ones, there is nothing quite like it. Now that we have had our first little bit of snow, it is really starting to feel like the holidays.

With the social calendar filling up and all those family commitments, a lot of wardrobe planning is required ahead of time, especially when those commitments include travelling. Well, not to worry. I’ve put together a range of looks for your various holiday season needs, from formal to fun and everything in between…

The Philanthropic Gala

‘Tis the season of giving and with your charitable contribution may come a black tie event. Enter PH-15 to the rescue. These dresses will get some mileage because not only are they black-tie, they can be dressed down with a blazer for more formal business engagements. You’ll look and, more importantly, feel like a million bucks in this neoprene-like material. It hugs your curves but glides and smooths over any lumps or bumps.

Gift Exchange

It seems silly to worry about what to wear among your friends but we all think about it, especially when getting together with friends you only see a couple times a year. Look your best in a pop of color that will go beyond the holiday season.

 Hosting a Dinner Party

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is host an intimate group of my friends to celebrate together. It’s usually pretty casual, but I always need to have my outfit picked out in advance so I can change quickly after slopping around in the kitchen. I always love to go over the top with the table setting and serving ware to create a festive and fun environment.

Going to a Jazz Club or Speak-Easy

So many familiar faces pop up during the holidays. People you haven’t seen in years seem to just appear in your lives when they are back in town. It is always so fun to pick up where you left off with those friends and blow off some steam. Whether going out with close friends or old flames, we think these outfits could do the trick.
