Dash & Albert Winter Sale

So, let’s talk about outdoor spaces, especially since we will be spending a lot of time on our porches (screened or not) and patios this winter. Summer isn’t the only time your outdoor space deserves a makeover and we are here to help. From November 23 to December 2, we will be offering 20 percent off all Dash & Albert rugs and accessories. That means you can save on an indoor/outdoor rug and cozy cotton blankets for your patios!

Our indoor/outdoor rugs come in three types: woven polypropylene, PET fibers, and polyester. Let me break that down for you. Woven polypropylene rugs are made with ultra-durable synthetic fibers that are made to take a beating. Each colorful rug is UV treated so they are fade resistant, which means a long and colorful life outside. The best part about them is how easy they are to clean. Just soap and water or the backyard hose cleans them up beautifully. They can even be bleached!

I’m a big fan of the PET and polyester rugs because they are constructed with eco-friendly fibers made from recycled plastic bottles. They feel like wool but are tough as nails. Just like the polypropylene rugs, they are UV protected for fade resistance and simple soap and water will clean them right up. However, bleach isn’t a good idea on these guys.

Every season, Dash & Albert introduces new rug styles. This season they did not disappoint, especially in this category. I’m particularly excited about the Marlo in its many colorways. From bright pink to handsome dark gray, they offer a wonderful accent to your porch. Below is a simple design using the French Blue, pulling in Pine Cone Hill indoor/outdoor pillows, and a Dash & Albert throw, all of which are on sale too.

This winter doesn’t have to be bleak and depressing as it seems. Add pops of color and a sale and things will feel just a little bit rosier. A vaccine is on its way, people. There is light at the end of the tunnel, so keep your chins up and stay cozy and safe!

Owner Amy Rutherford started Red Barn because she wanted to deliver a service — to provide both old and new in one place. No longer will busy shoppers be limited to reproductions or forced to shop multiple flea markets for the look or gifts they want. The trick in blending old and new, vintage and modern, classic and quirky, is balance. And Amy’s knack for mixing rustic antiques with urban chic has created a look that is both fresh and familiar.

Red Barn Mercantile opened its doors in September 2007 with a single vision in mind: providing old and new to offer our customers signature whole-room designs at great prices.

We’re more than a furniture boutique and provide more personalized service than a big box retailer. We work hard to bring you the highest quality furniture and gifts, the most unique conversation starters, wall hangings and accent pieces, whether they come from off-the-beaten-track flea markets, or the latest designers.
