No doubt, the coastal lifestyle of Coco Blanca is perfect for our Alexandria customer who just bought a vacation condo in Placida, Florida. Their decor request—British West Indies. We were delighted to accept the project, and began infusing classic English style with a clean contemporary sophisticated island feel. It’s a fabulous palette, so rich in texture— blending airy white linen panels and nubby white upholstery with dark mahogany wood, rattan wicker cane, and antique tropical prints. Comfortable, timeless yet fresh, warm, yet light and airy. Kind of like Hemingway meets Hepburn.
With a “Before” photo and floor plan provided by our customer, we created a digital layout, and chose fabric swatches and wood finishes for custom furnishings along with paint samples, lighting and art suggestions. Elisabeth will be heading down to Placida next week to take a few more measurements and to photograph the newly painted walls.
Once Coco completes the project, we’ll be sure to share the photos. Meanwhile, with fedora in hand … bon voyage!
