The Winter Sale at The Shoe Hive: Staff Favorites

I am writing this the day after I returned from my holiday break, and I was amazed upon walking into the store by how many new styles had arrived during my week away. This particular delivery is “resort,” but it no longer represents resort wear exclusively. Resort now includes so much more than flip flops and strappy sandals; it also showcases booties, flats, pumps, and sneakers to name a few. We have enough new styles to fill the entire side room at The Shoe Hive with more to come in, which means we had to start marking things down in other parts of the store.

We already alerted Stylebook readers last week to the details of our Winter Sale — fall and winter styles are 40 percent off! — but I wanted to share with you a few of the shoes I am shocked made it to this point. These are shoes that many of us on staff own and love (or are still coveting!), and will continue to wear as long as the weather permits. They include “it” brands such as Aquatalia, Freda Salvador, Stuart Weitzman, and Rag & Bone, as well as sale prices as low as $72 for a pair of metallic booties by Sofft and $90 for a pair of black suede booties by Sam Edelman.
