what to wear: weekend loungewear

After a week of long hours, hectic schedules, and errands galore, we look forward to our weekends to relax, unwind, and have a little “me time”. Looking after your family, working, and keeping the house together is taxing. Occasionally you just need some time to yourself…to indulge in a good book or a tall glass of wine. Actually, both of these two make a great combo (just saying). We believe that everyone, no matter how busy, needs to indulge themselves in something that they enjoy each and every week…to recharge and refresh. For some it may be playing tennis, relaxing by the pool, or just lounging on the couch. After opening our second location, we have been working a bit more than usual, so just lounging sounds pretty nice right about now.

When we have a weekend of chilling-out in store for us, why not spend the time at home in something comfortable, yet functional? Yes, we may wear old tee-shirts and sweat pants to bed from time to time but it would just feel sloppy and unattractive to wear these things around the house all weekend. That is when loungewear comes into play. It looks put together enough that you can answer the door when a neighbor pops over unexpectedly without feeling totally embarrassed when greeting them at the door.

Putting something on that looks as luxurious as it feels allows you to relax without guilt. It’s perfect to wear when curling up with a good book, planning the menu for your next dinner party, or even walking the dog.
