Say “Sionara!” to morning boredom and frustration with your closet.
High-neck blouses are huge this fall and function as a key piece in your wardrobe. I prefer this term to “turtleneck,” which I think are outdated, frumpy and uncomfortable. A high-neck blouse is chic and comfortable. Appropriate for work and versatile enough to take into the night, a high-neck blouse is the most efficient way to achieve a professional, classic and elegant look.
What to wear it with? Most anything. Depending on the pattern and color, denim, sleek black pants and a knee-length skirt all work fabulously well. Feel free to channel the ’70s vibe we are seeing echoed this fall and put your high-neck blouse with a pair of flares. If you are busty, have broader shoulders, or want to instantly slim your frame, stick to lightweight fabrics. Another trick is to create a V-shaped line by layering a tailored blazer or jacket over top. As always, adding a vertical accessory like a long necklace will surely do the trick.
