People travel from all over the country to come to our nation’s capital for Memorial Day. While the holiday may cause horrendous traffic for those who are looking to get out of town, the good news for those of us planning to stick around is that there are endless activities and events going on – all within a 10 mile radius. And while going into the district can be an absolute blast, sometimes it is just as nice to have a quiet family picnic at home.
