If you read Stylebook regularly, you will not then be surprised to learn that the ’70s are making a massive comeback this season. And for good reason! This time around, the interpretation of the ’70s is luxe bohemian–a little rugged, a little feminine, very laid-back and very luxe. Alicia shows us today in her post how to use pieces you’ve had for years to reinvent this particular trend. But if you don’t feel you have anything in your closet that translates to luxe bohemian and want to give it a try, think Stevie Nicks in Fleetwood Mac as opposed to ’70s Cher. They are both equally fabulous, but one is certainly more wearable day to day.
Embrace the luxe bohemian look by integrating boho-chic fabrics (suede!) and prints (floral!) in with the pieces you wear more regularly. As with any trend, it’s not about going overboard but introducing subtle touches in unexpected ways.
