In just a few short days fireworks will be lighting up the night sky, family and friends will be gathered together for backyard barbecues and good times will be had by all. We all have our own traditions when it comes to celebrating the 4th of July but one thing we think we can all agree on is that it is a time to kick back and relax with good company. And no matter what your plans are to celebrate our country’s independence, we have a few style tips that will help you dress for the occasion.

You don’t have to dress in stars and stripes to embody all American style. Dressing in all white or wearing white jeans and a chambray top together is a classic and chic way to show your patriotism, in your own understated way. We find that by wearing something that looks totally effortless, we get way more compliments than when it looks like we spent hours coordinating our looks. And when you feel good about what you are wearing, it shows.

Most events on 4th of July weekend are super casual, so take this opportunity to wear clothing that will keep you feeling comfortable all day long. There most likely will be a good amount of walking involved in your day, so we recommend wearing flat sandals or a chic pair of sneakers. And adding fun gold accessories to your all white ensemble will always help tie the look together.
