the red lip: a video

I’m not a big makeup person. Clothes, shoes, accessories? Yes, yes and yes. But makeup? I have always kept it pretty minimal–particularly when it comes to lip color. We are talking Burt’s Bees Monday through Friday and on Saturdays out with my husband? I woop it up with some fancy sheer lipgloss. Yes, folks, SHEER.

I spend my days talking to my clients about trying something new. Going outside of their comfort zones. Being brave and maybe surprising themselves about what does work for their personal style. I decided to take my own advice.

Colors deepen in fall when it comes to clothing. There is a boldness and richness with fall clothing. What better time to venture out of my colorless-lip comfort zone than now?
