Thanksgiving is fast approaching and we couldn’t be more excited about the tradition! This time of year is wonderful, not only for the turkey, football and Macy’s Parade but, more importantly, because we are able to spend time and make memories with our family.
Thanksgiving to us is about family bonding, catching up on time lost and making new memories with those around us. Many of our children have grown up and moved out on their own so having the entire family under one roof is pretty rare yet very special. This year we are going to take full advantage of having everyone together and make time for a family photo op. Looking at the old frames around the house filled with holiday pictures from when the kids were little made us realize how much we cherish them and that we hadn’t framed a family photo in years. This Thanksgiving is going to be the time we change that!
Let’s be honest, we live in the day and age where we do everything with our smart phones. We make calls, write emails, manage our calendars, keep up with social media and take photos, to name a few. While smart phones are wonderful and convenient for snapping photos in the moment, the reality of it is the only wall they ever make it to is Facebook. Of course, we all love seeing the photos on Facebook and Instagram, but we challenge you to print out those memorable pictures, frame them and place them around your home so you are reminded of the wonderful times you shared with your loved ones this Thanksgiving.
