To the readers of Alexandria Stylebook: watch out. This is a Street Style you won’t want to miss! Want to feel great about yourself, your body, and your workout like none I’ve ever seen? Look no further.
Heather Elkins will bring the hugest and brightest smile to your face the minute you read about her and check out her stunning energy and beauty. Grab a “sesh” (as she calls “sessions”) with her soon. She will very soon have a wait list!
Heather and I first met through a mutual friend. We are always looking for skilled, compassionate, and energetic trainers to join our Internship Program and eventually join as a trainer on the team. As you can imagine, all of these three qualities are tough to find. I think Remi, our Head Trainer, interviews 20 for every candidate we welcome to the next step. So when Remi spoke with Heather, I already knew her happy disposition and fun approach to life. It was a no-brainer: PLEASE COME TO FOR!
Thankfully, she accepted our invitation to join the FOR team. It has been nothing short of a pleasure working with her. As a colleague, she’s the first to step in and help out. As a trainer, you are in skilled hands and add a huge dose of fun and energy. She’s always looking for new ways to keep the “sesh” fresh, including boxing movements, playing fun music, or just blessing us with her hysterical sense of humor.
Heather is incredibly skilled as a fitness professional, for sure. Yet it’s Heather’s approach to her clients, her colleagues, and anyone who comes into her presence that makes her such a valuable member of our team. She lights up a room. She may yell something across the gym, she may laugh rather audibly, and she may help her clients laugh through a tough workout.
A communications professional turned fitness professional myself, I realize how helpful marketing is to our business. Heather has a similar background in marketing-turned-fitness instructor. In that regard, you may see her in the community warming up running races, distributing marketing materials to local businesses, and or even struggling with the City to see if we can get more signage!
She’ll joke her husband often tries to “switch her to the off position.” We at FOR want everything she’s got and turn that ON switch on forever!
