After having quite a cold spring we are very ready for the next season, summer! And what comes with the start of a new season? SALES! The Shoe Hive and The Hive are starting our annual spring sale a little bit earlier this year in anticipation for our favorite season — fall — but we don’t have to start talking about that quite yet 🙂 .
To kick off the end of our spring season and beginning of summer season we will be starting our spring sale today, and just about all spring styles will be marked down to 30 percent off. And I have to admit, there is still a lot of good stuff. The sooner you come, the better you are to score your size, so don’t wait too long to come see us. Summertime also means the start to extended hours, so Thursdays through Saturdays we will be open until 8pm and Sundays will be open from 11am until 6pm. While you enjoying your walk around Old town, come say hi to us!
We put together some looks from items you can score at the sale:
Co-Owner Katie Coslov bought Mint Condition with her sister-in-law Megan Podolsky in August of 2019. Previously Katie was the Director of Operations at The Shoe Hive and had fallen in love with Old Town’s charming little city, where you walk down the street and greet people by their first names. Coming from numerous other big named retailers, and graduating from The University of Arizona with a Retailing and Consumer Sciences Degree, owning her own store had been on her bucket list! Check Check. Katie and her husband Ryan moved to the Alexandria area in 2016 with their two dogs and now have two little ones also.
Mint Condition stocks an ever-changing inventory of current women’s clothing, handbags, shoes and jewelry by top designers – all in a fresh boutique atmosphere. Come see why we've been named the DC Metro’s Best Consignment Store by Washingtonian, Northern Virginia, Virginia Living Magazines and the Washington Post Express and featured in Southern Living Magazine as one of Old Town's best boutiques.
