Spa-cation
It’s been almost a year since my life changed dramatically, along with so many others. Sometimes I still find myself in disbelief and denial. At times like these, I find it important to step back and take a deep breath. Instead of dwelling on the negative, I look at the positive and take in all the things I’ve experienced and accomplished that I never took the time to do or explore before.
With that being said, my journey of self-awareness has taught me to accept and enjoy being me. I want to be healthy in mind and body and optimal at my age. So, I try to be mindful of my diet, my wine pours (not ready to give that up completely… lol), get back to strength training, and continue my moving meditation through Bikram Yoga. I’ve been weeding out the toxicity in my life. I have never felt better!
Every once in a while, I treat myself to a “SPA”cation. A mini self-care session of luxury products to indulge in. Whether it’s a mini facial, an aromatherapy bath, hair, hand, and foot care, there are many wonderful products to take you away for relaxing “me” time in your home or hotel room.
