the secret to packing linen

Tina: I am packing a lot of lightweight linen and cotton fabrics for an upcoming trip. Should I just iron everything when I get there or is there a way to prevent wrinkling?

Susie: It’s time to pack for another fabulous trip, but you don’t want to worry about what shape your clothes will be in when you arrive and let’s face it, no one wants to iron when they are away on vacation. Plastic…If you want to remember only one word in your packing efforts, this is the one. And here is why: friction causes wrinkling, plastic reduces friction. It’s that easy. The best way to utilize this basic plastic physics is with dry-cleaning bags. All hanger items should be packed in individual plastic bags (one outfit per bag). Clothes will arrive in their perfectly preserved state. Really!!!!!
