Restaurant Week Has Come Again!
It can’t just be a coincidence that Alexandria’s Summer Restaurant Week perfectly aligns with times of transition. For some, that transition involves heading back to school; for others, it entails saying, “’Til next year!” to the beach; for most, it means heavy traffic has returned; and for those of us in real estate, it means preparing for a bustling fall in the Alexandria market. Maybe Restaurant Week’s creators (can we talk? I love you guys) decided we needed some fuel before we tackle what’s to come.
Either way, we at The Patterson Group are so excited that Restaurant Week has come again. We kicked it off on Monday with a team lunch at Vola’s, which doubled as a fantastic place to see the eclipse; the Heirloom Tomato Salad and Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich were hits and still looked pretty, despite the hazy lighting! I went to Sonoma Cellar on Tuesday night with my husband. On Tuesdays, they offer cigar rolling and live music, so we’ll sit outside and I’ll sip rose and eat a Niçoise Salad while he enjoys his cigar.
