Hello 2014! I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am ready for a fresh start. There is something about the new year that seems to hold such promise. Along with cleaning out closets and re-organizing the drawers, I seem to feel that somehow this is going to be the year of great things. Admittedly, I feel that way at the beginning of every year and it doesn’t always turn out that way. Still, every January I say…”this is going to be my year!”

That feeling is so hopeful, fresh and exhilarating. Those are the words I would use to describe Pantone’s color of the year Radiant Orchid.

It falls in the middle of the color spectrum between pink and purple and is therefore flattering on almost every skin type. I took a quick perusal around Bellacara to see which products I could use to start adding a splash of Radiant Orchid to my look. This is what I found.

So whether it’s a handbag or a new nail polish, be sure to add a dash of this color to your look this year. I have a feeling, this is going to be your year!
