There are only a couple more weeks left in December. How have you done? Have you stuck to your goals? This is the time to make a plan. Based on your success in December, make a plan for the next week, month and perhaps year. Name it. Post it. Tell your family and friends. Hold yourself accountable. Find others to hold you accountable.
Ask yourself: Am I approaching the holidays with accountability but did I also give myself permission to make mistakes? Did I think twice about my food or drink consumption? Did I make it to bed at the time I chose once or even more often than that? If you did, congratulate yourself.
But now, I challenge you to approach your exercise like you did this holiday season. With a plan.
2015 will be the year you approach your fitness differently. Decide whether your goal is to train for something specific or to exercise regularly. Both have merit. The first requires a conscious plan and focus on goals. The other allows you to make excuses but reward yourself for doing something and for moving.
