make it personal

One of the most rewarding things about being an interior designer is transforming a client’s house into their home, finding the right fabrics, furniture, art, and other décor items that both work for their lifestyle and are truly reflective of who they are. The same principles extend to our shop, which is why we adore monograms.

Monograms date back to Greek & Roman times and were purely practical: rulers’ initials were carved into coins to validate currency. In the centuries since, artisans adopted the practice to mark works as authentically theirs. People took note and craved a similar way to uniquely yet stylishly identify themselves…a sentiment that endures today, and perhaps resonates even more so in our social media-savvy world.

Advances in monogram technology – yes, that’s a thing! – allow us to create custom designs that range from deco to ornate, from script to block print, from old fashioned and antique-y to thoroughly modern. Whether a gift that will be treasured for years to come, or something just for yourself, a monogram elevates any item. What better way to create something special?

Monogramming goes beyond linens and clothing, of course. Personalized glassware in your home is so special, and makes a wonderful wedding gift…

…and metal tubs can be personalized to be deployed in countless ways throughout the home.
