A sought-after stylist across the U.S. and Europe, Claude Marcel was recruited by Jacques Dessange himself in Paris to be the exclusive hairstylist for high-profile clients, working everything from television and movies to fashion shows, premieres and award shows like the Cannes Film Festival. In 1999, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he served as the artistic director and training manager for DESSANGE USA before opening his eponymous salon in Alexandria.
