look of the day: girlfriends’ lunch

It is hard to get the entire Stylebook team together since there are quite a few of us now and our schedules are all jammed pack. When we are able to make it happen though, we try to put our best fashion foot forward, since we are representing Stylebook after all. Style doesn’t have to be complicated though. It’s about finding great pieces that reflect current trends while remaining timeless.

Piece such as this two-toned leather shift dress from Kiskadee; a super-soft long, black cardigan from Zoe Boutique and of course the iconic Stuart Weitzman 5050s from The Shoe Hive. Bellacara recommends finishing off the look with Peter Thomas Roth’s mascara–great length and volume will be the envy of all the gals!

Our next meeting will hopefully be at Darby’s house where we intend on brainstorming, talking fashion and Stylebook and obviously having a glass or two of wine. Darby knows how to throw a party. She keeps it low-key by picking up a few dishes at a great local Mediterranean restaurant and inviting guests to help themselves. The atmosphere is laid-back but Darby never neglects the details. Especially flowers. The small bud vases from Coco Blanca pictured here would be perfect to have scattered throughout the house to pull it all together or clustered together on the dining room table as a centerpiece.
