hit a sale and try a trend!

With all of these crazy winter sales happening, I think this is the optimal time to get daring. To try something you wouldn’t otherwise. What fall/winter trend did you avoid? Was it leather? Or booties? Is there something else you’ve seen in the pages of a magazine or in a store window that you love but can’t see yourself in?
For me, it was leather. On of my most prized pieces is this amazing leather jacket I purchased on a trip in Spain, but I can’t seem to buy into leather leggings or a leather top. It looks incredible on everyone I’ve seen try it, but the thought of me…me!…trying it made me uneasy.
So, I’m going to take my own advice. So much is on sale now I’m going to grab a little leather something and hide it away for fall. Who doesn’t love discovering something new in their closet? It’s like Christmas!
Darby and Neil just returned from a buying trip for Fall 2014 and according to them many of these trends will resurface: especially leather! So be brave. Give that trend you’ve been avoiding a shot while making less of a financial commitment. At Kiskadee, we’ve marked down our clothes 40% and our shoes and boots 50%! (It may be time to give those booties a go too.)
