We are very pleased to share with you our exclusive 2016 collection Celebration de L’amour by Claude Marcel.
Says Claude: “Love is the great equalizer. An emotion so powerful it transforms those it touches. Love does not discriminate. This collection was inspired by the equality of love and celebrates the uniqueness of every individual, regardless of gender. I created this collection not to be seasonal but to capture the beauty of each person and highlight the versatility of these haircuts, leaving no place for traditional labels such as masculine and feminine.”
Claude Marcel’s style is chic and sophisticated, effortless yet perfectly coiffed. His technique was inspired by the Haute Couture fashion shows of Paris, where he took inspiration from watching couturiers cut fabrics with their scissors to create shapes and volume. When coloring hair, Claude paints the hair like an artist creating depth and contrast like a fashion photographer does when editing a picture. For this collection, Claude used vintage coloring techniques to soften and frame creating the modern looks in his exclusive 2016 collection.

In his Old Town, Alexandria salon, all stylists and colorists are hand-picked and recruited by Claude Marcel himself from top-tier hair academies. Under his mentorship, they undergo an intensive twelve-week training program to become the most talented stylists and colorists in the industry before working on the salon floor. Team members receive constant training on the latest trends and techniques, regardless of years of experience, ensuring you are in capable hands.
