Nicole: Do you have any fashion pet peeves?
Darby, Kiskadee: Where to begin?! I could write a whole series on this! My biggest pet peeve is probably when people don’t wear the correct undergarments! Still, it happens all the time.
First, select the right underwear: thongs or briefs. Panty lines are no fun, and seeing the color of your undies is even worse!! Commando underwear makes the best nude thong and bikini style with virtually no panty line at all. The seamless underwear blends in, and doesn’t make you bulge at the hips or buttocks.
A properly fitted bra is just as important. (There is a woman at the Pentagon City Nordstrom who is famous for her bra fittings.) Purchase bras in and only in your size, and in a variety of styles so you have the correct style for every outfit. Bra straps are not an accessory…hide them!
Fit is the key for undergarments. If it doesn’t look seamless without clothes, it certainly won’t underneath them!
