design trend: tassels
We love a good design trend and this week we thought we would talk about one of our current favorites – TASSELS! There’s no doubt that this 70’s staple is having a major moment in both the fashion and interior design world and we’re completely on board. Tassels add flare and a flirty touch to any design, making them an especially fun trend to watch. Here are a few of our favorites:
1) Nothing about these Tassel Table Lamps says 70’s throwback. They are playful, yet sophisticated and would be a perfect addition to a bedroom or dining room.
We love how Katie Mark Interiors used them in this bedroom project!
2) Not sure you’re ready for a long term commitment to tassels? We can’t get enough of the detachable tassels we’re seeing on so many lamps and chandeliers. A touch of tassel goes a long way and, if in the long run you decide you’re not a tassel person after all, you can simply remove.
3) We’re absolutely smitten with these tassel and brass sconces! Talk about powder room material.
4) A tassel table for your sitting room. We can’t think of a more stylish place to rest a drink.
5) Finally, we can’t get enough of tassel garland for party decor. Used as a backdrop or along your buffet table or bar cart, it really sets the tone for a celebration.
