coco blanca’s wildwood grand opening
Imagine that Papa Hemingway and Audrey Hepburn had a love child born in a Paris flea market. Her name is…Coco Blanca.
As we embark on our next adventure, we look back at how Coco Blanca really began. Our little shop came about from a love to re-finish old furniture, exchange laughs and the occasional cocktail or two. But that didn’t last long at all, before we knew it we had opened our first location in National Harbor where the business really began. We had never been shop owners before, so running a store was very new to us. Like anyone starting a new business, we had our hits and we also had our misses, but they were all things we learned from. After a few years of business at the Harbor, we found a location that we just couldn’t pass up and that was much closer to home for all of us. Moving to The Strand in Old Town Alexandria at 2013 couldn’t have been a better decision for Coco Blanca, from the inviting naturally lit space to the wonderful friends we have made within our own community. Our Alexandria location has been a true blessing!
And while our Alexandria store will forever be our home, we are ready to spread our wings and open our next location in Bethesda, MD. After long hours of searching and meetings with our realtors, we finally came across something that felt like the perfect fit for us. We knew our next store had to feel 100% right for us to go through with it and we got that feeling when we visited Wildwood. We knew we would fit right in with the other fabulous one-of-a-kind boutiques at Wildwood, it truly is a shopping experience.
Our Bethesda shop will feature much of the same “Coco Style” furniture, clothes, and home accessories that we all love so much in our Alexandria location. And the color palette will boast refreshing blends of sophisticated whites and neutrals, elegant tone on tone textures and delightful splashes of turquoise.
We hope that you will come join us at our Wildwood Grand Opening on June 11th from 10am-8pm. We are offering 15% off store wide throughout the entire day. FYI – the matching earrings and bracelet (the chunky hinged gold tone bracelet that you had just restocked – blue stone) was a hit. I received a number of compliments on my first wear. The earrings are very comfy w. the added padded backing. Just wanted you to know how pleased I am with them. Thanks.
