Bachca – Beauty and Affordability

I’ve always been a person who detested clutter. I can’t have too many small things around me as it unsettles my mind. I need a clutter-free work environment and I can’t relax in a cluttered room. Now that everyone in the family is home, keeping rooms free of clutter has become an uphill battle. As a result, I find myself retreating to my personal spaces more often now. Those are the areas I can control.

One of those areas is my bathroom. I find myself continuously putting away all my items so I don’t have to see the visual clutter. A few weeks back, I came upon an Instagram photo of a woman’s bathroom counter and it was covered with items, but somehow, I thought it was beautiful. I realized it was because all the items were natural wood and white. It was soothing. The thought that I could leave my hairbrush on the counter and not feel the need to immediately put it away was inviting. I needed to know who made these items.

It turns out that these items were created in France by a woman who wanted her personal accessories to be beautiful as well as functional and at an affordable price. She couldn’t find them, so she made them. Why can’t a nail clipper be pretty? It turns out, it can.

We now have Bachca in store. A line of pretty, functional, and affordable personal care items. While you’re at home using these items more than ever, why not have items you can leave on the counter and not feel bad about?

We have an assortment of hair and nail accessories in store now. The entire line will be arriving shortly. They also make great gifts and you won’t break the bank making a statement.

I have been a beauty junkie for what seems like forever, but before I did anything about it, I went to law school. (Yes, my life is a little like the reverse of Legally Blonde.) Then, I worked as a prosecutor in Sonoma County after which I moved to the DC area with my husband in ’97. I served as Majority Counsel to the Senate Banking Committee followed by a year-long stint at a lobbying firm. You get the picture. It was then that I decided to act on my dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Finding my favorite beauty products proved to be impossible without stepping foot in a mall–the horror. So, I decided to bring my favorites to Alexandria. A few trips to New York and a flight to France and Bellacara was born in March 2000.
