Cydney: How about showing some styles that women can wear when freezing in air conditioning – supermarkets, theaters, department stores, just about everywhere except if you are outside? Any tips?
Molly, Kiskadee: This is something I think everyone can relate to! How do you dress when the heat outside is unbearable, but the air conditioning inside is on full blast as a result? Layers and sleeves are the best way to tackle this problem.
Our wrists and necks respond quickly to temperature, so finding a lightweight sweater or cardigan that has full-length sleeves that can be pulled down when inside is a quick fix. Also, having a summer scarf with you at all times is a great way to warm up without lugging around a bulky jacket. What’s also great about scarves and sweaters is that they can function as layers, easily removed and carried in our purse.
Don’t fear that you won’t be seasonally-appropriate, as long as you keep the material and the color light! This Chan Luu scarf and Lisa Todd linen sweater are just two of many possibilities.
