ask stylebook: backless solutions?
Carolyn: I have a beautiful backless dress I plan on wearing this weekend to a charity event, but I don’t have a bra that works. The material is delicate so it’s not see-through, but I definitely need to do something…any suggestions?
Molly, Kiskadee: This exact same issue came up with me two weeks ago when I was dying to wear a backless dress to an engagement party! The answer is simple: NuBra’s stick on bra (or as Darby sometimes calls them: “sticky boobs”). This product actually works—not only does it give you full coverage, they actually stay on you without having to do the ever-so-awkward, non-discrete arm-push-down. The adhesive is very gentle so pulling them off is a cinch.
Another great option if you need more localized coverage are Hollywood’s Silicone Cover Ups. These are great if you don’t need to commit to a whole bra. Both items available at Kiskadee!
