addison weeks trunk show

As designers, we know it’s often those final accessories, that finishing touch, that makes the whole look just perfect, and that this holds true whether we’re talking about designing a room, or simply getting dressed. So recently, when Alex, Mikell, and I were at a gift show in Atlanta, we were determined to find that special…something.

Well these shows are huge – overwhelmingly so, actually – and finding that special “something” among the acres of um, let’s say not-so-special, can quickly transform an exciting, hopeful treasure hunt into a sort of sad and hopeless needle-in-a-haystack exercise.

That is until we came upon Addison Weeks. We found “something,” for sure, and it was beyond perfection. We may have gasped.

Launched in 2012, Addison Weeks was founded by Lee Addison Lesley and Katherine Weeks Mulford, two Southern designers who saw a need for versatile, high-quality fashion jewelry. Their mutual love of gemstones and shiny baubles led to an evolving collection that is both classic and modern, with an emphasis on hand-crafted luxurious creations.

Kat is a girl after our own heart: “I love digging through piles of vintage jewelry at the flea market. I find inspiration in old lockets and chains. The style and vibe of the 70s definitely speaks to me. I love layering chunky gemstones and big pendants. I’m often heard saying ‘is this too much?’ My answer is never!”

And the best part? Addison Week’s line includes not just jewelry, but items for the home. We love pretty much every single piece they make, so we’re hosting a trunk show – tomorrow through Saturday – so you, too, can see just how special this line is.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of our favorites:

Jewelry

02 cuff copy

Scattered labradorite stones keep this cuff is grounded enough for jeans and a t-shirt, but its shine makes it sophisticated enough for your favorite little black dress. Our new go-to. And the hinged gemstone bracelet is simply elegant for day or evening.

And LOTS of earrings: studs, drops, all sort of colors. Hard to choose!

Home Décor

SO good, and so many options. Brass, stainless, single stone, cluster – there is something just right for any décor. Even a turtle.

Clutches

The clutch that doubles as jewelry. Hammered, 100 percent handmade brass clutch with gemstone closure, the standard size easily fits a cell phone, lipstick and keys. Each clutch is fully lined with velvet. So lovely.

During the trunk show, enjoy 20 percent off all Addison Weeks, including special orders.
