Outdoor Living: 5 Patio Pieces We Love

The cherry blossoms are about to peak and it’s going to be in the 70s tomorrow: time to think about outdoor living. When you think about your patio or deck, it really should be an extension of your home — just as comfortable and welcoming as your indoor entertaining spaces, and just as much a reflection of your style and personality. So whether you are looking to dine al fresco or simply gather under the stars, here are five of our favorite outdoor furniture pieces.

We love the look of rattan but not the maintenance. That’s why we adore the Aurora chair. Made from a synthetic rattan that’s been aged to look realistic, it can withstand the elements yet will convey (and maintain!) a slightly weathered charm. Perfect alone a quiet corner, or set in pairs for breezy conversation. In white or brown.

We love the airy silhouette of the Seashell collection. Fresh and modern — but not too modern — the Seashell armchairs and side chairs offer a nod to tradition with their woven look. Lightweight but strong, the chairs are stackable for easy off-season storage. In chalk or bronze; also available in a lounge chair and love seat.

With its gold finial details and intricate framework, the Sullivan sofa lends a more formal feel, which is perfect for more structured garden settings, but here we made the sofas a bit more transitional by selecting an unexpectedly modern coffee table.

The thick, taupe wicker and open weave construction give the Taos collection a rustic-comfy vibe, like a true outdoor family room, and the deep cushions are extremely comfortable. The neutral palette means ample options for adding colorful accessories to complement your decor. Available in a sofa, love seat, armchair, and coffee and side tables.

Timeless and beautiful, the Cyril dining table makes a statement. The base substantial and architectural, but the spherical shape still feels organic and right at home in the garden. The oval shape is available in 7- or 8-feet.
