1 Jacket, 3 Ways

The prevalence of pink as a go-to color isn’t going to change anytime soon. We are seeing it carried through fall and winter with the same strength we’ve seen this past spring — in both clothing and accessories — and we can’t say we mind one little bit! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: when a trend is easy to pull off and works effortlessly with pieces you already have, wear it and wear it even more! Here are three new ways to wear it for cooler temps, using our new Veronica Beard pale pink moto jacket as an example.

Pink on Pink on Pink

Okay, really this is just pink on pink, but you get the point. The shade is so ubiquitous, you likely already have a handful of pink pieces in your closet. Nothing should stop you from wearing several of them at the same time! Here we paired the jacket with a tank by Veronica Beard we’ve carried for a couple of seasons now that comes in a variety of colors, new Mother denim, and studded suede mules by Rag & Bone.

Pink as Outerwear

The beauty of this jacket and this color (and this jacket IN this color) is its versatility. It’s heavy enough to be worn as outerwear but wearable enough to work as part of an outfit, too. For evening, we love it paired with richer tones in the same family like this plum shirred dress by Raquel Allegra.

Pink and Gray

Prior to pink, gray was the star of the show. And while it may have had to share the spotlight a little more recently, gray is still a winner. In fact, if you really want to show off your style chops, wear them together in a variety of ways and shades. We opted for a more casual approach to the color combination here, but it truly works for any look for any event for any time of day.
