Tricia Moffatt doesn’t walk into FOR (Fitness on the Run). She sashays. She has a way that she presents herself that I adore. She is smiling. She is engaging. And she is open to pretty much any workout I present to her. My dream client! 😉
More than a year ago, Tricia and I began to work together. I loved that she liked working with kettlebells (match made in heaven!), but I also loved how she still moved outside of the gym daily. She spends so much of her time driving her kids from one activity to another but always manages to get to FOR, take a yoga class, or go for a jog in her neighborhood.
Tricia’s two daughters and her husband are absolutely #1 in her life. She makes no bones about it. She puts her family first, and yet again, takes time for herself. She is kind and sincere, two qualities that are sometimes overlooked in our frenetic-paced Alexandria living.
When we train, we incorporate a lot of the movements I myself complete in my program: swings, tension drills, pull ups, and a variety of what we call “complexes.” Her swings and movements in general are crisp and perfect for building muscle and burning fat. She knows it and is proud of how far she’s come since she first came to FOR. I mean, look at her in that outfit? That doesn’t come easy. That came after Tricia devoted time to her program and trust in me to help her complete difficult movements.
Her sense of style is even evident in her workout clothes. I bet she has style in her PJs, too!
One of the ways I like to train my clients at FOR is to make sure every session is fun. I admit: I like to challenge you with more difficult movements on occasion. And, when you’re ready, I will even challenge you to increase the load/weight. Yet, laughter is a necessary emotion I believe we just don’t do enough. So, I do it at FOR.
And Tricia can belt out a good laugh right along with me!
