Street Style: Alli Cleveland
It’s not often that you meet someone and not only do you get along and have a ton in common, but your sweet little boys get along and so do your big boys! Alli has been a long time customer at 529, but it wasn’t until this summer, poolside at Mount Vernon Country Club, that we became friends.
Our youngest little guys played so well together in the pool and our hubbys always had so much to chat about. But for Alli and me, I think what sealed the deal is when she insisted on buying me a delicious pineapple cocktail on my birthday. We sipped poolside and chatted about everything from kids, to husbands, to our mutual love of fashion and retail.
During one of those fun convos, I told her that I was purchasing Mint Condition with my sister-in-law and not long after (likely over another yummy cocktail) we decided she would be such a good fit to work at the shop. Alli brings a fresh, fun style to Mint. Watch for her on our stories…she is great at putting fun date night looks together!

What is your hometown? Upper Dublin
What brought you to Alexandria? My husband was offered a job in D.C. the day after we got married. We lived in D.C. for four years, then moved to Abu Dhabi for four years, and then moved back to D.C. After we had kids we decided we were ready to live that suburb life and Old Town was at least a cool place to go out to on date night!
What would surprise people about you? That I lived overseas for four years and that my first child was born there
