Since the cold and dryness are still lingering many of us are struggling to keep our scalps flake free and our styles current. Some of the most common questions we hear at the salon right now are, “What do I do about my itchy scalp?” and “What is best as far as a new style?”
The first thing we will touch on is scalp care. The winter can be harsh on our skin and scalp with dryness and flakiness as the most common ailments. As far as a new look or style, the bob is still one of the most classic, yet in style looks ever. The sleek middle part bob has made a big come back and looks great in any length. Another look that has emerged in 2020 is the shag. Not a 70s shag, but a more modern take on it with less prominent layering. We understand that not everyone loves or can handle a long mane, but long tresses are back in style. Longer hair can be styled in so many ways and there are plenty of low-key ways to throw you hair in a bun with a cute hair piece and take on the day.
