Dreaming of that Perfect Vacation
You may have noticed that here at The Hive and The Shoe Hive, we are real movers and shakers. Our managers, in particular, take every opportunity they can to jet set while keeping the stores on track, of course! Needless to say, this past year has been hard and we are all dying to get back out there and travel. Sometimes the four of us get together for wine, and we always get caught on the subject of where we are hoping to get to the second it’s safe again.
Part of traveling is building that perfect on-the-go and location appropriate wardrobe. Next to your clothes and shoes, skincare is the other major factor while packing. As our trips are hopefully happening, fingers crossed, when the weather turns warm, skin protection could not be more important! For this post, we all included a sun protection item from Bellacara.

Shannon is hoping to finally be able to celebrate her dear friends at their wedding in Park City, Utah. Since the hopeful wedding date is in May, she will be using the St. Tropez tanning water to get that glow early in the season! I am itching to go somewhere tropical asap! Puerto Rico is a great compromise. Within reach of a direct flight, the weather is always perfect, and their COVID safe policies seem to be keeping the island safe. You really can’t beat it! I was not so cautious about sun protection growing up and am now paying the price. If the trip is a go, I will always be sporting a Janessa Leone hat plus the amazing Super Goop CC Cream from Bellacara – it has SPF 50!

If you know Madeline, you know her girl crew runs deep. They are always doing something fun, and in years past, they made a point to get up to Dewey Beach a couple times a summer – even if just for the weekend. They are hoping to pick that back up this summer. Madeline’s outfit is cozy meets cute. Mary is trying to get out to Los Angeles to visit a friend that moved there last year. Due to COVID, she has had to postpone multiple times. Hopefully, early this summer, it will finally happen! Her outfit is so cute, simple, and on-trend. You know she will be rocking a middle part too… she says she is a millennial, but we don’t trust it.
